Victoria Hill, who was Miss Georgia in 2019, first runner up for Miss America, is again wearing a crown. Hill, an opera singer, was crowned the 2023 Miss Georgia Volunteer on Saturday, July 23 in Atlanta. Victoria was originally slated to sing Riding by Christmas Lights but her path changed when she decided to compete for and win Miss Georgia in 2019.
In 2020 she competed for Miss America and was first runner up. We think she won, but God had a different path and the 2020 Miss America Crown was certainly affected by the Covid epidemic. Victoria went on to win Miss Georgia volunteer for her work in foster care in 2023.
We were so thankful for her time in the studio with us and friendship. She started the process of recording Riding by Christmas Lights and helped our younger artists in the studio. As Miss America she did come and sing the National Anthem and a few other show tunes for the first ever county wide Cherokee County PIckleball Circles League Championship in 2019.
